Welcome to Anka Events Pty Ltd (ABN 26 690 822 121). By partnering with us for event services or purchasing a ticket to one of our events, you agree to the following terms.
Section 1: Event Management Services (For our Clients)
These terms apply when you hire Anka Events to plan, produce, or coordinate an event for you.
- Agreement: Our partnership begins when you accept our written proposal or when we begin work at your request.
- Fees and Payment:
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure our services and begin work.
- Final balances must be paid no later than 7 days before your event.
- Third-party supplier costs approved by you may be invoiced separately and must be paid by their specific due date.
- Cancellations and Postponements: We understand plans change, but as we commit resources early, the following fees apply for cancellations:
- 30+ days notice: 50% deposit forfeited.
- 15–30 days notice: 75% of total fees payable.
- 7–14 days notice: 90% of total fees payable.
- Under 7 days notice: 100% of total fees payable.
- Your Responsibilities: You are responsible for providing accurate info, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring the venue meets safety standards. You must also hold your own public liability insurance.
- Intellectual Property: We love our creative work! All concepts, designs, and run-sheets created by Anka Events remain our intellectual property unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Section 2: Ticket Purchase Terms (For our Attendees)
These terms apply when you buy a ticket to an event organized or managed by Anka Events.
- Buying Tickets: Tickets are only secured once full payment is cleared. If you miss an "Early Bird" or promotional cutoff date, unpaid orders will revert to standard pricing.
- Refunds and Transfers:
- 30+ days before the event: You may request a refund (an admin fee will apply).
- Within 30 days of the event: Tickets are non-refundable.
- Transfers: You can transfer your ticket to someone else! Please email us to update attendee details (an admin fee may apply).
- At the Event: Admission is at our discretion. By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed for our marketing and promotional purposes. You attend at your own risk.
- Event Changes: If we have to cancel an event, your only remedy is a refund of the ticket price. We aren't responsible for your travel or hotel costs.
Section 3: General Legal (Applies to Everyone)
- Force Majeure: We aren't liable for failures caused by things outside our control (pandemics, natural disasters, etc.).
- Liability: To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the fees paid.
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
