Ticket Purchase Terms – Anka Events Pty Ltd

These Ticket Purchase Terms and Conditions ("Ticket Terms") apply to the purchase of tickets to events organised or managed by Anka Events Pty Ltd (ABN 26 690 822 121) ("Anka Events," "we," "us").

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Ticket Terms.

1. Ticket Purchase and Payment

   1. Tickets must be purchased through the official ticketing platform specified for the relevant event.

   2. All prices, fees, and charges are displayed at the point of purchase and quoted in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.

   3. A booking or order does not reserve tickets. Tickets are issued only after full payment has been received and cleared.

   4. Discounted or promotional pricing is only available if full payment is received on or prior to the advertised cut-off date, time or allocated ticket number. Unpaid or partially paid bookings or orders after this date will revert to the standard ticket price.

   5. Payment processing may be handled by a third-party provider. The merchant name will appear on the purchaser’s payment statement.

   6. Tickets may be issued electronically or otherwise as specified at the time of purchase.

   7. Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets may not be replaced.

   8. Tickets do not include insurance of any kind.

2. Use and Transfer of Tickets

   1. Tickets may be used by the purchaser or transferred to another attendee. ("Attendee").

   2. Requests to transfer tickets or update attendee details must be submitted in writing to the event contact address and may incur an administrative fee.

   3. The purchaser must ensure that any attendee is aware of and complies with these Ticket Terms.

3. Entry and Attendance Conditions

   1. Admission is at the discretion of Anka Events. Valid tickets must be presented for entry. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged, defaced, or invalid.

   2. Anka Events may impose entry conditions, including restrictions on recording devices, bags, or other items.

   3. Events may be photographed, filmed, or recorded. Attendees consent to the use of their image, likeness, and voice in any media for promotional or broadcast purposes without compensation.

   4. Attendees participate at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anka Events is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense related to attendance, including indirect or consequential loss.

4. Changes, Cancellations and Force Majeure

   1. Anka Events may cancel tickets or events, change event programs, speakers, venues, dates, times, or capacity, and substitute presenters or content where reasonably required.

   2. If Anka Events cancels an event, the purchaser’s only remedy is a refund of the ticket price paid. Anka Events is not responsible for additional costs, including travel or accommodation.

   3. Anka Events is not responsible for cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond its control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or security risks.

   4. Purchasers are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance.

5. Refund Policy

   1. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase: cancellation requests received more than 30 days before the event may be eligible for a refund, less an administration fee. Cancellation requests within 30 days of the event are non-refundable.

   2. Certain ticket types, including launch events, special offers or promotional tickets, may be expressly non-refundable.

   3. If applicable, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe after the event or cancellation.

6. Privacy and Marketing

   1. Personal information collected in connection with ticket purchases is handled in accordance with Anka Events’ Privacy Policy.

   2. Unless the purchaser opts out in writing, Anka Events may share the purchaser's contact details with event sponsors, partners or relevant government stakeholders for event-related purposes.

7. General

   1. These Ticket Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

   2. Anka Events may amend these Ticket Terms for future events.

   3. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
